Newsday - an American daily newspaper serving Nassau and Suffolk counties in the NY City borough of Queens, Long Island, published the results of a three-year investigation into alleged discrimination by real estate agents in the communities on Long Island, NY in 2019. A major result of this investigation brought forth the need for real estate licensee education on Fair Housing. The purpose of this class is to provide real estate professionals working in today's diverse real estate environment with the knowledge and information they need to understand the importance of fair housing laws and ensure they are responsibly practices real estate in a nondiscriminatory fashion. *This course is approved for FREC specialty Hours for license renewal and the NAR triennial Fair Housing Requirement.*
